Music Therapy Outreach

Thanks to a generous grant from Autism Speaks, two Portland, Oregon board-certified music therapists, Marie Miller and Angie Kopshy, are able to present: Music Therapy Outreach.

Music therapy outreach is a 10 week group music therapy program for children on the autism spectrum.  These groups will target social skills, communication, motor planning, self esteemand self expression. The program aims to provide knowledge, resources, and ideas to help parents and caregivers implement similar ideas and techniques at home and in school.

  • Full and partial scholarships available for all children

  • Age ranges of groups to be determined by survey (see below)

  • First two groups (8 children/group) will begin January 2015

  • One 45 minute group session per week

  • Location: 2800 SE Harrison St, Portland OR

We would love to hear from you if you are interested in your child participating in these groups! Filling out the survey does not automatically register your child for the group as group age ranges of groups will be determined by survey, however we will try our best to make sure all interested families are able to participate.

Please click here to access the survey!  We will have the results and group information to each family by December 5th.  Thank you!
